The Women in Agriculture Impact Investment facility (WAII) Facility call for applications that commenced in June 2022 is still open to receive applications from female-led enterprises across the agricultural sector. Finding XY established the Women in Agriculture Impact Investment (WAII) facility to accelerate investment to a community of female-led Agri-SMEs, across the value chain using a blend of instruments and a gender lens approaches. At Finding XY, we believe every entrepreneur should be supported. From our experience, entrepreneurs regardless of where they come from, almost face the same challenges. We offer opportunities for anyone that wants to create change.
Through the facility successful businesses will benefit from:
1. Low risk Investment from Impact Investors. Minimum USD 50K and above.
2. Tailored business advisory and Deal closure support with our expert team.
3. New partnerships and network growth.
Eligibility Criteria:
1. You have a minimum turnover of USD 100k.
2. Have female representation at ownership, or management or across your value chain.
3. Your business should have been in existence for at least 2 years.
4. Should be seeking to raise above USD 50K in debt or equity investment.
5. Should have operations in Northern, Western, and Eastern Uganda. Karamoja sub-region or in Refugee settlements.
6. Should be registered as a private company limited by shares or guarantee.
7. Have audited statements for at least 2 years
